Every Earth Day, people across the world gather in an effort to raise awareness about the global crisis our planet is currently facing. Earth Day acts a catalyst to help change the world by uniting people and increasing the social conscience. It reflects the desire of people to make a difference in the well-being of our planet. Through green art USA, Earth Day shines in South Florida with our annual event.
Last year we put together a special celebration sharing our contribution through art. “Because any action matters” is part of our mission statement. In our community small action is a big contribution to this global mission.

This year’s Earth Day event will also celebrate the of the opening of our first one-of-the-kind Green Art Center located at 7620 North East 4th Court Miami, FL, 33138. The event will start with our signature green carpet to welcome our members, celebrities and special guests and will also showcase part of our Art Installation Eco-mmunities ™ .  These pieces display the power to up-cycle materials that could have ended up in the landfill.

After the Green Carpet and the Art Installation presentation there will be a recognition moment for green art USA to honor members who have supported our cause from the beginning:  Miami Mayor Manny Diaz, Vanessa Hauc (Telemundo –NBC) and more.

The evening will include Complementary drinks, hors d'oeuvres special creations from South Florida's top and aspiring chefs. Music by DJ Kristian Caro and Drummer Javi Sains from Hotel Viictor South Beach, DJ Steven and DJ Saul Good and our unique Eco-Art Fashion Show, recycled ball gowns formed of truly exotic materials, such as construction materials, recycled plastic bags, recycled Tablecloth among others. During the Eco Fashion Show, there will be an intermission to bring the opportunity to the Soprano Edward Mena to contribute to the green movement with his talented voice. We also wellcome the Band "McEsbra Slay" a Jazz trio two giutars and a bassist, 16 years old members from the Academy of Arts and Minds Charter High School in Coconut Grove.

Green Art Center member, World Green Concept's (WGC) Magazine will officially released their publication which will be a new source of information about the green movement where artists, builders and other service providers can be found along with articles based on a better and greener planet.

This is an invitation only event, supporting our green initiatives. Tickets can be purchased by way of donations on the RSVP page.
The proceeds from all of the green art USA events this year will help to support and develop our ongoing educational art projects in our new location, Green Art Center, which will feature our Recycling Center, Art studios, educational programs and much more, for artists and the community to drop off and use the collected materials for future creations. This is an important mission for green art USA and will make Miami a cleaner, greener place to live filled with impactful artwork.
